Welcome to my colorful world! From kitschy Christmas dioramas to fine art encaustic paintings, my artwork is an expression of what speaks to my heart. I love the patina and character of vintage items and am smitten with the colorful art of 1940's and 1950's decor.

In my paintings I tend to focus on themes of home and shelter, nature, and the healing power of love and compassion. I'm inspired by empowered women whose strength lies in their wisdom, courage, convictions, and fierce love for their people, home, and planet.

I've spent my life creating, leaving trails of paper, beads,  and fabric scraps all over the house. Thankfully, almost everyone in my family is creatively messy, too, and they understand. I live in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, with my husband and two nearly-grown children.
